Waiver and Release of Liability

Please read this information carefully and be aware that in signing up and participating in activities with The Stellar Life, LLC (TSL), you will be expressively assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damages or loss which you might sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities.

By attending any event, workshop, retreat, or in-person gathering hosted by TSL, I agree to the following:

1. Acknowledgment of Participation

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in an event hosted by TSL, which may involve physical, emotional, and mental activities. I understand that these experiences may be intense, triggering, or otherwise impact my emotional, physical, or psychological well-being.

2. Assumption of Risk

I recognize that participation in TSL events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to emotional triggers, physical injury, illness, or property loss. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in these activities.

3. Responsibility for Personal Belongings

I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings and will not hold TSL or its representatives liable for theft, loss, or damage.

4. Facility and Environment Acknowledgment

I understand that TSL does not warrant the safety of event venues, premises, or surrounding environments. I agree to hold TSL harmless for any injury or loss related to property conditions or third-party issues.

5. COVID-19 & COMMUNICABLE DISEASE WAIVER

I understand and acknowledge:

  • COVID-19 and other communicable diseases may be present in any public setting.

  • TSL follows local health guidelines, including those from the CDC and LA County Department of Public Health.

  • While precautions are taken, TSL cannot eliminate all risk of exposure.

By attending, I affirm:

  • I am not currently experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (fever, fatigue, cough, difficulty breathing, etc.).

  • To my knowledge, I have not been recently exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. I have not knowingly been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for a contagious illness in the last 5–7 days.

  • I will not attend if I develop symptoms or test positive before the event.

  • I assume all risk related to potential exposure to COVID-19 or other infectious diseases and waive any claims against TSL or its representatives.

6. Waiver & Release

I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, personal representatives, assigns, and estate, hereby voluntarily waive, release, and hold harmless TSL and all its affiliates, volunteers, facilitators, contractors, and venue providers from any and all claims for damages, injuries, illness (including from COVID-19), or losses sustained before, during, or after participation.

This waiver applies whether such claims are based on negligence, breach of contract, premises liability, or otherwise.

7. Media & Consent

I grant permission for any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the event to be used by TSL for promotional or educational purposes, unless I specify otherwise in writing or in person.

8. Severability

If any portion of this waiver is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in full force and effect.

By signing or registering for this event, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Release & Waiver of Liability.
