ALignment lab
A monthly practice space to design a life that feels like yours. For those who’ve been to Misfits in Touch and want to go deeper.
Next group begins: Thursday, May 21st
The real problem
It’s not that you don’t have awareness.
It’s that you don’t have a place to practice living from it.
So what happens? You…
• feel your “no”… and still say yes
• know what you want… but don’t express it
• feel aligned in certain spaces… but not in your day-to-day life
• understand your patterns but still fall into them
The gap?
That’s what this space is for.
what alignment lab is
Alignment Lab is a small group, ongoing space where you come to:
• reflect on what’s actually happening in your life
• experiment with new ways of relating
• integrate what you’re learning into real decisions
• and build a life that feels more aligned, one step at a time
This isn’t traditional coaching.
It’s not a workshop.
It’s a relational, embodied practice space.
What We’re actually doing here
Inside Alignment Lab, we’re working with 2 things at the same time:
Your real life:
• your relationships
• your decisions
• your patterns
• what’s currently unfolding
Your inner compass:
• yes / no / maybe
• desire and hesitation
• your values
• what actually feels true in your body
Together, this becomes a way to move from:
“I know what’s true” → to actually living it
What You’ll Practice
Each session is grounded in real life, not theory.
We’ll explore:
• noticing when you override yourself
• expressing what’s true even if it’s uncomfortable
• recognizing patterns as they happen - not after
• making decisions that reflect your values
• building a life that generates the feelings you actually want
The secret weapon: the Alignment framework…
Each session will help you create your very own personal framework for making choices and decisions aligned with who you are. This leads to living an aligned life - once things ‘click’ into place, you’ll no longer feel like life takes effort or work, but rather, in flow. We’ll work with:
• imagining your
• mapping your 3 core feelings based on your ideal life
• identifying and clarifying your top values
• aligning who you are with what you want and seeing actual results
This Space is for You if…
• you’ve done some inner work and want to actually live it
• you’re tired of having insight without change
• you want a simple structure to come back to
• you’re ready for practice - not just reflection
How It Works
• Small group: 6-8ppl
• Frequency: Monthly -3rd Thursday
• Session length: 7pm-9pm
• Location: private residence in Echo Park, 90026
The Power of Small Group work
Alignment happens quickly with embodied practices and within relationship. In this space, you’ll get to:
• be witnessed over time
• see your patterns more clearly
• learn from others without comparison
• practice being honest in connection
• build trust with yourself and others
This space is not
• a place to perform or “do it right”
• advice-based or solution-focused
• about fixing yourself
Many people associate workshops like this with desperation or lack.
We name this directly because it’s not true.
Misfits in Touch is not about fixing something that’s broken. It’s about practicing skills most of us were never taught in a culture that is deeply touch-scarce and socially fragmented. It reflects living in a culture where safe, platonic touch and attuned presence are rare.
Longing for connection does not mean something is wrong with you.
People who attend are:
socially active yet still longing for depth
single or partnered, and curious
confident, tender, and self-aware
“I came in nervous and left feeling calm, seen, and more confident in my boundaries.”
“So much more structured and safe than I expected. I felt genuinely cared for.”
“I didn’t do much touch and I still got so much out of it.”
