We spend so much time learning about ourselves…but where do we actually get to practice what we're learning with other humans?
Most of the time, we're expected to figure it out when the stakes are already high.
With our partner. On the date. During the conflict. With our family. At work. When our bodies are already activated.
We may know we want to communicate clearly, hold boundaries, ask for what we want, stay open, and not abandon ourselves just to keep the peace.
And then we're actually with another person. 😂
We accommodate. We withdraw. We overgive. We lose our words. We say yes before we've checked for our no. We realize what we wanted after the moment has passed.
Practice gives us somewhere to get the reps before the moment really matters.
Through simple, guided interactions with other people, we slow things down enough to notice what we actually do in connection—and try something different.
The interactions are real, but the stakes are low. Your familiar responses still show up, but there's more room to notice them, pause, and choose what you want to do next.
We're not practicing the "right" response.
We're building more capacity and more range—so when the stakes are higher, we have more choice in how we respond.
Come solo or with a partner. Practice is a 2-hour, small-group experience relevant to dating, friendship, partnership, family, work, community, and anywhere else you find yourself relating to another human.
