Journal

What This Journal Will Hold

Dear friend,
I’ve been wanting to make a place like this for a while.

A place to hold things.
A container, like the ones we co-create irl at our events and intimate gatherings.

When we talk about love, relationships, intimacy, desire, we talk about what lives in scripts, rules, and conditioning…and how to re-imagine something that feels more authentic. More true.

I want this journal to reflect that.

To me, real learning has always come from experience.
From moments in my body when something clicked.

This journal exists for that kind of knowing.

It will hold the kind of learning that happens when we stop asking ‘what should I want?’ and begin ‘asking what feels right for me, right now?’

It will hold reflections shaped by community by sitting in rooms with others who are also curious, tender, unsure, alive.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about community as an ecosystem rather than a structure.

Not something we join to get needs met efficiently, but something we enter into relationship with. Something alive. Something that changes us as much as we shape it.

In an ecosystem, nothing exists in isolation. Each part affects the whole- sometimes visibly, sometimes in ways we don’t understand until much later. Support moves in many directions. Care is shared. Loss is felt collectively. Growth happens because there is enough diversity, enough difference, enough room for each being to take up their particular shape.

This journal will hold reflections on that kind of interdependence.

Where relationship isn’t transactional, but relational.

It’s about remembering that your way of loving is something you get to discover through your body, your experiences, your boundaries, your longings, your no’s as much as your yeses.

You’re welcome to read quietly.
To take what resonates and leave the rest.
