Misfits in Touch: A Guided Connection Workshop in Los Angeles
Craving real human connection - without pressure, performance, or expectation?
Misfits in Touch is a guided, connection-based workshop where you don’t just talk about connection—you practice it.
You might resonate with Misfits in Touch if you’re:
• burned out on dating culture
• feeling lonely—even if partnered or surrounded by friends
• craving safe, nourishing touch that doesn’t have to escalate
• curious about practicing boundaries and consent in real time
If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
What this is
This 3.5-hour guided experience is designed as a gentle, low-stakes entry point into connection as a practice.
Through a series of simple, structured interactions, you’ll be guided step by step—so you don’t have to figure out how to connect on your own.
We move gradually, creating space to settle, explore, and connect without feeling rushed.
What You’ll Experience
Along the way, you’ll practice:
• noticing what feels like a “yes,” “no,” or “maybe” in your body
• expressing boundaries clearly and respectfully
• listening and responding to others in real time
• staying connected to yourself while being with others
Each part of the experience is intentionally designed to help you move from initial awkwardness into a more natural, attuned way of relating.
This isn’t about performing or getting it right—it’s about noticing what’s true for you, moment by moment.
What Makes This Different
Many spaces bring people together and hope connection happens.
Here, connection is gently guided and intentionally strucutured.
You won’t be left to navigate social dynamics on your own…we walk into it together, step by step.
The Flow of the evening
Misfits in Touch draws from the structure of a cuddle class, with:
• guided connection exercises
• clear consent agreements
• demonstrations to support understanding
• a cozy, padded space to explore optional, platonic touch
The second half of the evening opens into a more spacious, free-form connection time—where you can follow what feels natural, at your own pace.
Everything is optional.
Your “no” is always welcome and respected.
Connection doesn’t have to lead anywhere to be meaningful.
New Here?
Most people come on their own, and many are attending for the first time.
You don’t need experience or a partner—just curiosity and a willingness to move at your own pace.
Participants tend to be thoughtful, open, and committed to co-creating a respectful, consent-forward space together.
This space centers the comfort and safety of women, queer, and gender-diverse participants.
Inclusive. Beginner-friendly. Come solo or with a friend.
Over time…
Many people find that with repeated practice, they feel more comfortable expressing themselves, reading others, and staying connected to their own boundaries—both inside and outside this space.
